Training Overview

Are guns allowed where you work? Discover how the recent Supreme Court ruling affects gun rights.

On June 23, the Supreme Court knocked down a New York state law requiring people who wanted to carry guns in public to prove they had a particular need for firearms. The court ruled that law-abiding citizens have a right to carry guns without justification.  With more than 400 million guns estimated in the U.S., it is time to shift your focus to security risks.

Although the Dobbs case overruling Roe v. Wade grabbed most of the headlines this summer, this gun decision will likely cause even more headaches for employers. You need to understand the meaning for your organization and how to respond before a pistol-packing employee confronts you at work.
