John Popeo

John Popeo is a Principal at The Gallatin Group, a consulting firm that advises investment firms, banks, and technology companies on financial regulatory and transactional matters. Prior to Gallatin, John spent a decade in various roles at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and the FDIC, where he implemented emergency credit and liquidity facilities to stabilize financial markets. At the FDIC, John was part of a task force that implemented the Dodd-Frank Act and led deals to sell and unwind over 40 failing banks during the 2008 financial crisis.
