- Involved in the start-up of new initiatives, including the Sorensen Center for International Peace and Justice (CUNY School of Law), the Court Square Law Project (a partnership between the CUNY School of Law and the New York City Bar Association), and the Miami Culinary Institute at Miami Dade College
