Training Overview
Get the facts: Long COVID and your employees. Learn how to comply with their disability rights.
According to the CDC, one out of five people infected with COVID suffers from symptoms that drag on for three or more months after recovery. Some of these long-haulers have become so severely disabled that they are unable to perform the essential functions of their jobs. With disability claims continuing to increase, you need to know what rights these employees have under the Americans with Disabilities Act and provide reasonable accommodations.
Long COVID has a variety of physical complications and pain that can affect individuals’ abilities to work. Along with the underlying condition and the overt symptoms may come depression, drug dependence, and unpredictable absenteeism. Despite your best efforts, the ever-changing landscape is tough to navigate and small mistakes can be costly to fix.
